- was a Filipino gifted poet, bard artist, and musician who is a Palawan native known for his performance and outstanding mastery of the local traditions of basal, kulilal and bagit.
HISTORY:
Masino Intaray is a Palawan people born near Makagwa Valley on the 10th of April 1943. He resides in the highlands of southern Palawan together with his wife and four sons and the community of Batak and Tagbanwa tribe a major indigenous cultural community in Palawan. He was recognized for his excellent ability in the field of poet, bard art, and music in year 1993 and given an award of National Living Treasure. In year 2013 of November, Masino Intaray struggles with diabetes compounded by a series of strokes and had a 10 days hospital confinement where he was brought back to kalang banwa his hometown the day before 30th of November when he passed away living his family and entire community grieving.
